Heart of Lorrimar Lodge offers individualised, animal-assisted and nature-based experiences for children and young people. Our programs are built around the things that matter most — genuine connection, growing confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Set on our working property in Maitland, NSW, every experience is shaped around the individual — their pace, their interests, and their strengths.

Individual Support
One-on-one support tailored entirely to the child or young person — their goals, their rhythm, and their world. We walk alongside them, not ahead.
Respite & Meaningful Activities
Purposeful breaks that restore and reconnect. We create time and space for young people to recharge, explore new interests, and simply be — away from the pressures of everyday life.
Animal & Nature-Based Experiences
Grounded in the quiet power of animals and the outdoors. These experiences invite young people to slow down, build trust, and discover their own capacity for connection and calm.

Our school holiday and special activity programs bring together the best of Lorrimar — animals, nature, creativity, and hands-on experiences — in a structured yet unhurried environment. Each program is designed to spark curiosity, nurture confidence, and give children and young people something genuinely worth looking forward to.
From working alongside our resident animals to creative workshops and gentle bush adventures, every program is intentionally small, warmly held, and open to all abilities.
